  • My Strategy For Dealing With The Volatility [View article]
Smart move on the limit orders. I had my SCHD limit filled @ 34.9999, locking in a 3.16% trailing yield. I'm happy with anything over 3% out of such a strong ETF.

  • How To Build An Early Retirement, Tax-Free Income Portfolio With Closed-End Funds [View article]
I believe you mean ETV, which yields the 8.63% as stated in the article and uses a buy-write strategy, not EVT, which currently yields 7% and uses a leveraged dividend capture strategy.

  • We're Starting To Feel The Energy Of Fitbit's IPO [View article]
Just giving someone a Fitbit isn't necessarily going to encourage use, but I have heard of major corporations giving employees large discounts on health insurance if they wear a fitness tracker and report the results.

I'm not a FitBit fan and the issues with people being burned by the devices is concerning, but the quantified-self movement is going mainstream and there will be other opportunities to get in on the action.

  • Why Cisco Has A Fantastic Dividend! [View article]
Agree with the article, but I think there's a typo...

"Risk of Capital Loss - MEDIUM"
"Cisco registers a score of LOW on our scale. A score of LOW means shares are cheap."

  • Apple: No To iWatch This Year [View article]
I don't know which industry you work in, but my friends, coworkers, and I fit your description of busy professionals perfectly and we all use iPhones and iPads for 3 reasons - 1) Because they are what our corporate IT departments give us 2) Because they are what we ask our corporate IT departments to give us because busy professionals have no time for a steep Android learning curve 3) Because our wives & kids use Apple products at home and a proprietary Apple connector isn't a big deal in a home with 5 Apple chargers laying around.

  • Introducing The $100K Young Professionals Portfolio [View article]
As a young professional with both $100k in retirement savings and that makes over $100k per year, it appears I'm your target audience for this portfolio. It also appears you've failed to reach your audience, because I'm offended by the condescending tone of this article. It smacks of MCD Happy Meal marketing being applied to a slightly older demographic. "Oooooh look, shiny, I want that mutual fund because it has trendy names". I would much rather see WFM, V, GE, or F than high-flying flashy brand names.

  • Northern Tier Energy Is Rated Buy For Unit Valuation And Distribution [View article]
Great article, I am also long NTI. What are your thoughts on the effect of the crack spread going negative, with WTI priced higher than Brent, on NTI's margins?
