Ashraf, if INTC is making these in roads into mobile, won't that put negative pressure on NVDA?
Also, INTC and AAPL or helping MU against Samsung per another great article on SA. So, how can INTC and Samsung also work together on this? I was hoping NVDA would get Samsung business but now if that is in doubt, won't NVDA be squeezed out?

I never looked it up, but I would think the average cost per operation is higher for installing a new knee or hip as compared to gynocological surgery.
Not comparible except as a concept but Coach sells far fewer bags than others, but their average selling price is higher. Same for tiffany or Tesla motors.

I invested in IMUC. I understood it was a binary event with high risk. I understood that it is a financially stressed company subject to dilution. I was even aware of the market cap level to likelyhood of success "law" ascribed to the street dot com reporter.
I just never knew how hard it is to be patient and wait.
OK, now is a good time to remind myself that the wait means real people are still enjoying time with their family on each arm of the study. Good luck to them all.

leviek, if the product is superior and leads to quicker (less costly to insurance) recovery, then why doesn't the HMO or Medicare dictate that the surgery is makoplasty as a priority?

Chuck, you did not mention the efficient market theory here. The kind of arbitrage opportunity implied by some of these charts seems to greatly discount that theory yet folks still seem to believe in it.
I feel like I am watching the neighbor do garage sales in preparation for the short sale of the home they built by scratch. Sorta sad for the CEO even though we all know the history.

mauricius there are many differences between FCX and SLW, I believe. Too many to consider them as similar investments other than they both deal in physical commodities. FCX has higher overhead and debt and lower margins than SLW. Price to sales: SLW is much higher but at a 52 week low, while FCX,like other miners, looks like a decent value trap waiting to be sprung. If you believe commodities are going higher, then the leverage with SLW should outperform FCX. If you think we are going to see even lower levels then FCX should not drop as much as SLW could, i guess... but then I would rather buy something that could grow like LINE for their even much greater dividend!!!
a great trade, for sure. Congrats. Paulo, do you have any technical factors you look at when you sell a call closed? I had AAPL calls before the announcement and got out just as they turned positive only to watch the stock skyrocket and the calls value go up without me. Its hard to stay in for the full 490% that you received - again, nice job!

Thanks Kenyan I appreciated the article and learned from it. I agree that the sell off is overdone here, but not sure what catalyst brings it back so the selling of short term calls that that is mentioned above is an interesting idea.

Chuck, thanks for performing this on DE. Its not a CCC listed stock, but a lot of us from the farm belt are as loyal to Deere as harley riders are to their HOG. Its an added plus that most customers are return customers for generations.
