AKR has been doing a considerable amount of development in the New York metropolitan area; EQY is looking to expand out of its southern concentration and the board chairman has been making large insider purchases; And, of course there is KIM, expanding into Canada, Mexico and Chile. Reits are trading at historically large discounts to NAV.
