  • Tough To Believe But MannKind Is Making Progress [View article]
    Thanks, George.

I am surprised that there has been no press release by MNKD detailing the convertibles but the company is not known for issuing many press releases so I guess that is wishful thinking on my part.

There was an older woman who was interviewed for an online article who was given compassionate use for exubera when it was pulled from the market and she was in the study.

She is now on afrezza and thinks that the lung issue thing is blown out of proportion. It is past my bedtime but I will try to dig up the article tomorrow.

  • MannKind Investors See Long-Term Success With Afrezza [View article]
Most of the big box stores don't report to IMS or symphony. Walmart, CVS, and Walgreen's to name three, however, IMS/symphony use some kind of statistical formula to arrive at their numbers.

Amy lists some of the BP that she receives compensation from under the disclosures section on the diabetesmine website. I just hope she is on the up and up but find it odd that she will not give any details why afrezza isn't working for her.

  • If Afrezza Isn't A Blockbuster Is MannKind Doomed? [View article]
These numbers were being kicked around when afrezza was being launched and I don't recall any complaints.

    Bullypit

How do you know that no other pharma didn't make an offer? Al wants afrezza to be a success - not to get it shelved. Al holding back TS is a smart move since that is where the big money is and at this stage of the game there is no reason for sny to pay the price for TS that Al wants.

    Thanks, Kumquat for the article.

It seems people get so worked up over whether afrezza will be a blockbuster or not that they lose sight of the fact that this is a great investment even if sales are just "good'.

  • MannKind: Decision Time Regarding Those Convertible Bonds [View article]
    Robert -

Are you planning on taking a little profit then buying back in? I keep thinking about doing this but every time I have done so in the past with other stocks the price keeps going up! I think I have bad luck.

You are right. That is why (I think) the clause was put in the partnership agreement stating that sny could not acquire 5% or more of mnkd without the consent of mnkd.
