Roger Wiegand: The Biggest Gold, Silver Rally in History
All good stuff, we would just like to throw in the effect of the internet and global communications which we think will add to the severity of the oscillations that lie before us. It wont be long before people are saying 'who would have thought that gold and silver would hit such lofty peaks'. During the maniacal phase, on spikes we expect to gold hit $10,000/oz.

(PS We appear to have the wrong web site address as our site is gold-prices.biz and not .com, no disrespect to .com)

Get Out of Commodities - Barron's
The Chinese will keep going until their standard of living reaches that of the western world, which will take a few more years to achieve. Along the way they will also acquire both silver and gold, the future looks sparkling to us.

Why I'm Selling My Gold and Silver
Gold is just above its 200 DMA so we doubt that it will drop much further. This situation is very different from last May when the gap between gold and its 200 DMA was huge. It will be rocky, but sell! Not us.

Merrill Bullish On Silver Wheaton, Bearish On Silver Prices Long-Term
We would agree with Silver Wheaton being under valued and we are puzzled as to why this is so, but the author does not offer an explanation. We also struggle with forecasts for silver of $13 for 2008, we would humbly suggest that silver will test the £20 this year.

The Speed of Silver: Are You a Mr. Spock or a Dr. McCoy?
I guess we need to a little of both characters to get it right. The twenty year bear market that you mention was a real grind, I remember it well. If I can throw another characteristic into the pot, that is the one we call 'gut feel' then we could just be on the verge of a big move up, according to my guts! No doubt these two precious metals will take us all by surprise when it happens.

      Auditor Waves Goodbye to Crystallex
In our opinion this cannot be good for Crystallex. Accountancy firms fight tooth and nail to win new business so the decision to walk away would not be taken lightly. The bottom line is that it is a sad day for both parties.

      Why You Shouldn't Own Cameco
I fully appreciate what you guys are saying, Cigar Lake and Cameco are undervalued in terms of a possible mine.

However, at the moment the issues with flooding make this a <em>potential<... world class deposit, but it is not much use if the flooding makes it impossible to mine. We still do not know when or if Cigar Lake will ever be operational.

You can invest in CCJ on the chance that they manage to fix the problems that they are having, but I would stay out of the stock until they do. I would prefer stocks like FRG as they are generating 200% annual returns, where Cameco is hardly producing any at all.

In conclusion to ride this uranium bull one should be buying stocks like FRG which are moving upwards with the uranium price. If one wants to bet on Cameco fixing the problems at Cigar Lake, then one should be buying Cameco, but it will not move much higher until the issues with Cigar Lake are sorted out.

The Future of Gold, Silver and Commodities in the Coming Recession
Provocative article on a number of fronts, but it is exactly what we need right now. Too many commentators are asleep on the job and they just cant see a recession never mind a full blown depression. As each nation tries to leap frog the others by devaluing their own currency in an attempt to remain competitive the attractiveness of gold will glow brighter.

Crystallex's CEO: 'We're Closer Than Ever To Venezuelan Mining Permit'
If if they get the permit, there is still a very big political danger in Venezuela, nobody knows if Chavez will nationalize mines or impose large taxes or worse.

Therefore I think that it is best to invest outside of countries like Venezuela.

Best of Luck to KRY though!

Silver is Close to a Buy Point: Still Room for a Drop
We bought silver stocks yesterday as we saw the bottom as then. You could be right and it could fall further however the downside risk is now limited in our humble opinion, but the upside could now go all the way to £20.00. Buy silver and be happy!

Are Gold and Silver Losing Their Sparkle?
The precious metals sector is being dragged down by this world wide market sell off. Is this a problem or an opportunity? To us it is an opportunity for those who can wait until this thing blows over there should be some real bargains to be had.
