  • Nuvilex: Paid Promotion Marijuana Bubble Set To Burst [View article]
So is MCIG a pump and dump stock? I heard from some unconfirmed sources that a 10-Q is very likely to be released soon, and its my hope they will do much better than the investment community thinks, and its not amounting to another traditional pump and dump story unfolding before our eyes.

  • Elite Pharmaceuticals: Swinging For The Fences [View article]
Okay dear author, what about the price target in March period, when the following reports are released to the public:
March will be great. Upcoming catalysts:

    1. Pivotal BE trial starting in March
    2. Trial data from pivotal BE trial due 1st or 2nd week or March
    3. 3rd patent PR'd

    4. Maybe Partnership with big pharma??? (IMO it happens March or April)

    $2.10-$2.75 Is Too Conservative

Being the payoff year would be 2016, what if the share price, for no reason of its own, just continues to make these huge surges we've seen the past few days with no news? It get a feeling that any day now that good news on results of the clinical trials with the FDA blessings is sufficient to see the share price surge to $5 or higher as institutions start to line up and speculation abound to drive the share price. Hypothetically, this could happen before Elite receive FDA-approval on its first ADT/ART opioid and the official mandate. We might be at $10-$14 by then. Just my opinions, but informative to know that speculation is factoring into surges in between PRs.

what do you think about the above?

Dear doctor I would like to you to take a look at one more nascent company, elite pharmaceuticals. It is severely undervalued and under-appreciated and not too well understood by investors and wall street currently and has the sheer potential to bring in 1000+% ROI in the near future, based on its current $0.41 PPS and target of $5 if a buyout occurs, heard the company management is in talks without the finer details of what transpired, but its with Actavis who recently purchased Forest laboratories, Elite pharmaceuticals could be next on the line of acquisition targets for their important pipeline of drugs.

thank you doctor for researching so much into the shares which I require more elucidation and enlightenment from a medical perspective, but please do not tire yourself over such matters, focus on the more important things like writing your essays and research articles, and your latest book. I am in no hurry at the moment and do appreciate the help you give to others in your area of research.

Your figures of 4 billion dollars how conservative or how overblown is that figure, by getting the truth of the market value of those important drugs which are highly sought after by FDA, I think if we luckily got bought out by a willing major pharma-biotechnology company who's willing to expand their product line and reclaim their market glory against their emerging competitors, then Elite pharmaceuticals shareholders will be grinning from ear to ear! Please let me know what do you think about these drugs and how valuable they are because there are very few articles to substantiate that fact through google and elsewhere on the internet. I would be grateful because the hunt for the next multibagger opportunity thats not a pump and dump stock is on my agenda for my portfolio.

Thank you doctor for your frank and timely response, its given me plenty of insight and increased my fundamental knowledge of how certain drugs work, why certain drugs are approved and the general dynamics and nuances of investing actively in the biotech industry flush with plenty of opportunities to discover multibagger stocks like my traditional favourite Jazz pharmaceuticals and their counterparts which delighted many of their faithful and long-suffering shareholders. Now I am frantically and diligently turning my attention somewhere to unearth such new ventures and cures not found in the sector-cancer, diabetes through oral insulin and those orphan drug categories which have a huge market share to capture and research and development to conduct, numerous clinical trial patients to recruit and conduct feasible experiments which would hopefully turn out to be blockbuster drugs in their own right.

I acknowledge the fact that doing broad based research work that entails going down to the company itself to confirm certain statistics and looking at the operational efficiency, drug manufacturing process and quality control systems and knowing firsthand the company's background and meeting key personnel to discuss issues at hand, can be a chore. I personally have never taken my journey through the stock market biotech sector adventure so far yet, depending off other's research and due diligence. You have been a great help to me, and I thank God for such people who put others before self and seek to benefit the community at large.

Please concentrate on finishing your article on the quarterly recommendations, I would also find some interesting information which have eluded me so far. Perhaps it would be good to tell you which are the current biotech pharmaceutical company picks I hope would pay off in the mid-term to longer term, as I believe its good to have robust debate and understand certain key principles and decision making factors to study such companies in greater detail.

    1.Oncosec medical
    2.Rexahn pharmaceuticals

There might be more down the road, I am keeping my alertness level high and spotting opportunities that might present itself. Thank you very much for your time and effort, appreciated it.

Thanks doctor for your research work and dedication shown through the high quality assessment of your stock picks in your articles, I believe many seeking alpha readers have benefitted from your hard work. I look forward to your research and findings from the company of focus-chelsea therapeutics, its really kind of you. I think you will also be able to look at things from the FDA's perspective ahead of the very important FDA decision this friday. Many investors have their fingers crossed on this one, hoping it will turn out to be a blessed buy, and of course for the greater community good.

  • Why I Think Hemp Inc. Is Soon Going Back Down To Under 10 Cents Per Share [View article]
Any red flags or cautionary note to anybody who is buying into the stock feeding frenzy of hemp cultivation, medical and recreational marijuana, and cannabis oil production companies right now because of state and soon to be nationwide legalization of these products in the very near future? Its wonderful and terrific to see such astronomical gains over just a few weeks as depicted in the data inside the article, is this supposedly just the beginning of a larger wave of investor enthusiasm and scientific breakthrough of allowing marijuana to be used for treatment of patients under supervisory care by medical professionals and other usage of this once forbidden drug? Is the current administration doing something good finally for such stocks, and 2014 is just the tip of the iceberg?

Thank you very much for your timely and thoughtful response on my questions, with or without the stock spilt , I think the most important factor is that they will continuously succeed to bring industry worthy drugs to the marketplace and be of significant benefit to patients, start a new paradigm change in the healthcare sector, of course exponentially increase the shareholder's returns as well. Although FDA's fickle and unpredictable nature in approving drugs with an orphan drug indication status might give some companies leniency and reduce the potential for failure in the highly complicated process of going through numerous channels of confirmation, checks and balances, authorization and other tedious things through ADCOM and finally FDA' s approval, how well do you think the OCA(bile acid analog) will do to attain that much anticipated approval by the FDA that has gotten more stringent and unforgiving in its thorough scrutiny of drugs year after year? I have to say that I am also invested in Chelsea therapeutics awaiting important vote of confidence and approval by FDA this coming valentine's day 14th Feb 2014.

Its always difficult to predict how certain key components of a drug's safety, efficacy and potential side effects, and additional safety and restriction caveats ,would be weigh very heavily as consideration factors for the panel of medical judges validating the company's technology is sound and approved for use on patients, or totally dismissing the compound as totally useless? How does ICPT fare in garnering a favourable outcome for the FDA approval on the phantom date? I hope that the 500% increase during 9 and 10th January would be just a foretaste of something amazing for shareholders. Sometimes it takes a medical doctor to understand the workings and intricacies of a drug to enlighten business minded people of how certain biotech investments make sense or rubbish from factual empirical evidences.

But then again I regret not buying shares of ICPT as early as its IPO date in october 2012 when the market value per stock was only $20, suddenly to find myself being left behind in the mad frenzy that ensued because of the early stoppage of clinical trial due to excellent statistically significant results. But I am not missing the ride this time round provided the company has a bag full of tricks, not just a one trick pony.

    Thanks for your help again.

I was actually of the opinion that given the very low float structure of the company only 19.31 million shares and each one being worth a hefty $351 at the close of 7th February which I thought was exposing itself to the inherent risk of a possible stock split to increase liquidity and helping the company get into the hands of more retail and institutional shareholders, thus there will be dilution. Would you think that its too farfetched and unbelievable to happen if the company's stock rises to above $1000 on approval from FDA? normally biotech stock do not go above $300 except for mature companies like Amgen, biogen, alexion, regeneron etc. I am just simply afraid that the company might be over the moon too soon, and its accelerated growth might not be able to justify the extremely high valuation prematurely. what is your opinion and perhaps investment afterthoughts on this company for people who are interested in extreme high growth and multibagger stocks?

exactly same sentiments and feelings as me, I think the stock will go to $10 approximately because I am taking my estimations from the way it behaved during the ADCOM on 14th January when the committee members of the medical council ruled in favour 16-1 majority vote to approve Northera, the stock immediately spiked 150% during early hours of trading then dropped gradually throughout the trading hours. What more about an approval? It has to be of the same response by the stock market anticipating something really important milestone of the company, so if approved will calm many jittered nerves.

  • CytRx's Aldoxorubicin's Potential Is Underestimated, Creating A Buying Opportunity [View article]
why is it not reflected in the share price which has been the subject of so much volatility and instability, I think the renewed confidence and hope that the company will be the very first one of its kind to use liker compounds which add value and credibility of the existing novel technology to treat solid tumours, aldoxorubixin being one of such compounds will be able to experience a very substantial rise in PPS by sometime this year, although we do not know when. And not having to wait until the official announcement of the approval of the linker compounds for which is too late. Do you think this company stock is still very undervalued at this moment? I believe we should be closer to $25 now because of the numerous catalytic events which could prove the company's technology works throughout its pipeline by 2014.

If the often times unpredictable human nature even at the highest office of approval for food and drugs in the USA, they just need to settle these minute love hate relationship of an inanimate object which is Northera ,and just simply come to a resolute and firm conclusion that their moral duty and responsibility is to help patients suffering for decades, since the majority of the ADCOM members were in favour of it, they should just approve it to prevent any more soap opera nonsense and stop delaying anymore.
