Sirius/XM's 'Chinese Inspection': Leaving the Merger to Rot?

One can only begin to fathom all the fraud, waste, abuse, deceit, and artificial economic factors that will be created with a nationalized health care system when thinking how easily the DOJ & FCC have handled the XM/SIRI merger situation.

Sirius / XM Merger: No Surrender

The appearance of the FCC regarding the XM/SIRI merger approval process is to 'punish' the two participating companies until they feel the pain upon approval . . . no matter what. Unfortunately, the stockholders going along for the ride could also be punished if more conditions not discussed nor agreed upon are piled on by the FCC.

Can you say lack of governmental agency transparency? Or, should you say do no harm to the interests of free radio broadcasters' lobbyists?

Sirius/XM Deal Extension - More Pending Action

When the 'trust' issue is raised regarding government (politicians and agencies), I recall transparency being one of the aspects to strive for . . . but rarely implemented.

Any reason the FCC does not articulate their position or operating procedure? Or is silence the current official FCC position because they are not in the position to speak the truth in public regarding the XM/SIRI merger?
