Well there's opportunity, if China actually paid for their vast theft of software, entertainment, pharm, and so on. The piracy rates in China are staggering compared to the US and much of the west.

Gosh I'm sick of hearing China complain.
They chose to intentionally deflate their currency beyond belief and restrict currency exchange. They chose to put 80+% into one bucket. They chose their reserve currency. If they wanted guarantees on their agency debt holdings, they should have bought treasuries with a smaller return. China has done all of this intentionally and then wants to portray a "poor China" image.
Last year my company started a fund to support earthquake victims in China. WHAT??! China is loaded with reserves. Why are we donating money?
socrateazz is exactly right. Bringing China into MFN status and the WTO supposedly (with no conditions whatsoever) would "infect" China with democracy. Instead the US has been infected.

I'm not sure why, but PZE is almost ALWAYS mentioned in articles like this, when the bigger factor is really PBR. Are you guys all using the same (wrong) ticker lookup software?

What on Earth is this guy talking about? ATMs in the US have had daily withdrawal limits for as long as I can remember. For many, the limit is around $500 or $1000.
I'd like to know which bank let the author withdraw $10,000 from an ATM. This story makes no sense, and I'm very dubious it occurred.
