LDK Solar: The Brightest Opportunity? [View article]
Finally an Analyst that talks sense: Michael Lu I congratulate you on speaking truth.
I have been following and have owned shares in LDK since IPO.
If I stretch my gut feeling on the fact that a small percentage of LDK product goes to US directly and these US Oil centric analysts like to use this ill thought out sentiment.
As an American I understand most of the products we buy are from China.
As an American I understand that we must move away from Oil and into Solar and wind charging of our electric vehicles.
If we want to have anything we can pay for I think supporting these Analyst for their hedge fund buddies is shooting ourself in the foot.
What have Hedge funds done?
They are nice people who care about the majority of Americans? They care about the companies they buy and sell? They never lie and are totally honest about the PPS strike.

Analyst are manipulators of the fearful and greedy herd. What's your angle.
If you think grid parity is special because it is already happened in many places, watch in 5 years.
Solar will blow gas and coal to the side with the new technologies.
We need to embrace All alternatives to Crude, Gas, Coal and Nuclear ASAP. This will drive the cost of them all down and the consumer will reap the benefits of low cost electricity, to charge their cars.
In 10 years we could have a society not worrying about power, when we all pitch in 2 to 3 years, with the lower cost Solar and wind systems. The prices will go down for the end consumer, they always do with emerging technologies.
The price of a computer has dropped substantially over the years, but there are more and more people buying them.
2009 -11 will be Solar boom years if you like PPS.
Who knows where the bottom is?
It could be the end of July.
Since oil is a major contributor to a falling world economy shouldn't the mix with Alternatives be ramped up now.
Sucking up to oil is like giving these major money holding Analysts card Blanche.
Just load up close to the bottom and on the dips and I think you'll be able to start your own solar and wind farm.
That's what I'm going to do.
LDK is a good buy right now no matter what anybody says.
And at the end of July bottom basement sale will you be there, I will.

Animal Farm analogy doesn't wash
IMHO there is a big difference between the two parties:
I. Republican ideology:
1a. Find an enemy and blow them out of all proportion. Say it over and over again till enough believe it.
1b. Move the 51% by fear: they will get you so you better help up get em.
1c. Tell everyone that opposes the ideology they are weak liberals.
1d. Destabilize areas of interest that can make money, move in and say you're going to create democracy.
1e. Make money for your self and friends and trickle it down to your branded cattle.
What you fear has a better chance to manifest. People rise to your greatest expectations.
Be nasty to your enemy and they may get you back when they can.
If they don't see you as a threat than they are less likely to grow armor and weapons.
Understand President Lincoln was a Republican, that was fair and if alive today his ideology would be that of the democrats.
--
II. Democratic ideology:
2a. Help as many people as you can..
2b. All are created to rise to the best equal.
2c. Communicate, negotiate, care for an amiable outcome.
2d. Know that the majority of people are good and see the best in all things.
What you care for has a better chance to manifest. People rise to your greatest expectations.
Be good to your enemy and you may make a friend.
Grow strong in body, mind and spirit, to know defense is a last option, which one does not need to use unless no other option.
Three Reasons Solar Sell-off May Be in Early Innings [View article]
Electric/hydrogen cars on the increase.
You'd be a fool to short solars no matter what.
Anyway I'm personally buying more solar panels.

1. solar was growing when crude was at 70USD
2. McCain/Palin would be a disaster for the world, just as Bush Halliburton.

But then again we are just a herd and there is a thing call support and resistance.
There's water there and fire there.
Are you a Bull, Bear, Bat, snake or maybe Red tailed Hawk. You get my drift or will the river take you down to the wave.
Probably best you get a real job and really make something, like a Solar panel or a wind turbine or food.
Economies don't work on just virtualizing and information, I think that's watt brought the Romans down.
