  • Ford Starts The New Year Off Right [View article]
Excellent article as usual Brett. I also think the 2015 Mustang, which is new from the ground up, including a sexy convertible will bring renewed excitement and enthusiasm to the brand. The 20% dividend hike is really great news for us longtime shareholders and underscores new CEO Mark Field's confidence about Ford going forward! Reinvigorating Lincoln could be the frosting on the cake for Ford.

  • Lockheed to modernize Army Tactical Missile System [View news story]
$78 contract is negligible for world's largest defense contractor which does billions of dollars of business each quarter! I presume you meant to say 78 million dollars! Entertaining business bulletin to say the least!

  • Ford: Out With The Old, In With The New [View article]
A new 8 or 9 speed automatic transmission for the F-150 will contribute to even better mpg results in the future years. This story keeps getting better all the time with Ford's stock price to reflect this in the future.

  • Is High Yielding Lockeed Martin The Way To Invest In The Aerospace Industry? [View article]
I am predicting a 2 for 1 stock split within the next 24 months as a mechanism to both reward investors and realign the stock's price. With the apparent success of the F-35 coupled with growing international threats from both ISIS and Russia, Lockheed remains in a strong position for future orders.

  • Ford's Sell-Off Is Nothing More Than A Great Buying Opportunity [View article]
"You people" are looking at Ford's drastically improving product line, Lincoln's slow but steady reemergence from near obscurity and the overall improvements in Ford's financials. What are you looking at other than a pre-packaged pessimistic attitude!

  • Ford's Sell-Off Is Nothing More Than A Great Buying Opportunity [View article]
Outside of North America, the Escape is called the Kuga and Fusion is called Mondeo. Interesting names for essentially the identical vehicles. Wisely, Ford seems to be using the Mustang around the globe. Go Ford!

  • Ford: Don't Be Fooled Again [View article]
"Macroeconomic and geopolitical headwinds are out of control at the company."
Really? I can assure you that Ford is not in disarray and "out of control" as you state. While you await a better entry point, I'll remain invested and continue to collect a decent dividend. Ford has already rebounded dramatically since the Great Recession: I sense the author fails to see that many horses are already out of the Ford's barn, excluding the 2015 Mustang, F-150 and Lincoln MKC to name a few.

  • Will General Electric Face Activist Pressure? [View article]
Very good brief overview of GE's corporate strategy moving forward. Me thinks your grammar and math work well rather with detractors having clear embarrassing themselves in the process.

  • Ford Is Heading Towards Its Target In China [View article]
Good fundamental analysis of Ford. I especially like your overview of Lincoln's progress in terms of reinvigorating this historic nameplate. I think Ford needs to introduce really superlative full size vehicles to replace the current Taurus and Lincoln variant which could add prestige to the entire corporation. Also, too many of Ford's passenger cars emphasize black interiors which seems expedient, especially since many of us avoid dark interiors due to the extra heat produced during summer months.

  • Qualcomm: Buy For Growth, Stay For The Dividend [View article]
QCOM is steadily increasing it's dividend and in the long run preparing for a 2 for 1 stock split contingency with current actions to decrease stock dilution and have a decent looking dividend when a split occurs. Just my sense where this momentum is headed 2-3 years out.

  • Can Lincoln Have A Material Impact On Ford's Bottom Line? [View article]
A Lincoln coupe, new convertible and perhaps even a wagon should also be considered in making Lincoln Motor Company fully competitive with Lexus, BMW and Mercedes. Lincoln should be relentless in order to succeed. The entirety of Ford Motor Company can gain enhanced prestige if Lincoln is elevated to it's top game.

  • Ford Motor: Using Probability And Forward Earnings To Find Upside [View article]
I think that if Ford is able to execute well with exciting new products including the upcoming F 150, 2015 Ford Mustang, a completely redesigned Ford Taurus and a resurgent Lincoln brand then the stock will once again start moving higher. I am glad to hear that Ford is finally acknowleging the problems with SYNC and going with both mechanical controls and a well-proven internet interface offered by Blackberry. Gradually increasing the dividend and reducing the 4 billion shares of outstanding stock thru buybacks as aptly suggested other comments would undoubtedly serve shareholders well.

  • Drought Hits American Pickup Trucks [View article]
I would say that California farmers will either choose to purchase the current outgoing 2014 F-150 model at a substantial discount or prudently await the arrival of the all new aluminum body 2015 model hopefully coinciding with an alleviation of California's drought.
In another words, the California farmer's near term hardship will present an opportunity later on to upgrade technologically to the coming era of lighter weight pick trucks thru the use of new lighter weight materials such as aluminum and high strength steel. GM is presently lagging Ford's initiative in lighter weight pick up trucks so they will just have to endure the nearer term drought-stricken decline in demand with less attractive product offerings in the near future. Advantage Ford!

  • Here's Why Ford Is Going To $18.50 [View article]
Ford's eventual assent will be a management and product-driven phenomena. I think that a legitimate reinvention of Lincoln as a real world class luxury brand and
also a much more upscale Taurus for the Ford brand would greatly enhance Ford's profitability. Finally addressing the SYNC problem head-on is also going to assist sales. I think that Ford needs to move beyond the stereotype of a pickup manufacturer for Midwesterners that only dabbles in passenger vehicles. Go Ford!
