It's interesting that you recommend SWC with EPS of (.13) and PAL with and EPS of (.47) versus PCU with EPS of 8.70 with a 2 dollar dividend. A twenty fold increase on negative earnings would be dire indeed or do you perhaps predict these two firms will do something they have never done - and earn a profit? Please don't use my articles to pump your speculative positions and I will afford you the same respect.

LDK Solar: Thompson Gets It Wrong

Thank you for the clarification. My reason for the interpretation was based on LDK clearing the statement you posted through two of the worlds top law firms. Knowing this, it is no leap of faith to make the assumption that LDK has not issued a foreward looking statement that would leave them liable. Therefore, this would have to be a conservative estimate easily attainable, based on all the information currently available to the company and their counsel. While nothing in life is certain, I've learned that banking on a top litigator not shooting themselves in the foot is pretty close to it.

Don't Count on Spain for Solar Success

I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day. Perhaps if you keep decrying solar long enough you will be too. Real investors look for growing markets and China has made a commitment to Solar that will provide all the growth their companies need without Spain by 2010. With rising energy costs and pollution, and an emerging market like China as the wind beneath it's sales, your position seems fairly weak. I took the time to read your website...pretty biased stuff there. I guess everyone needs a niche and yours appears to be defying logic. We'll see how it works out for you.
