First Solar Vulnerable to a Tellurium Shortage?

It will be interesting to see how 5N plus, the primary supplier to FSLR of CdTe will do as it is going public on the TSX in Canada and starts trading on Dec 20th. From what I have read, they are setting up a plant in Germany to provide, almost exclusively, FSLR CdTe.

First Solar Vulnerable to a Tellurium Shortage?

There is a small, Vancouver Canada-based CdTe, CdZnTe supplier called Redlen Technologies. They have been working on a production process for years and are one of the suppliers of CdTe to FSLR. They are a private company now, but are venture backed. Might be worth paying attention to. I believe the other big supplier is 5NPlus - another private company.
