When their portfolio takes a hit they turn to financial networks like CNBC to find out what is going on and what they should do. If there is a parade of "professional advisors" saying this is just a correction and they should stay in the market, then they follow that advice. Is it unrealistic to expect a financial news network to provide fair and balanced info on the markets? I guess these investors learned the answer to this the hard way.
