  • NanoViricides: House Of Cards With -80% Downside, 'Strong Sell' Recommendation [View article]
"Is it really impossible to find an independent lab to test your drugs that is not owned and run by a company insider?"

    No, it's not impossible:

  • Pebble Mine On The Rocks [View article]
Earlier a number of tribes had asked the EPA for more time to consider and formulate response to the EPA's study. The EPA denied the request. There is something heavy handed about how the EPA is operating -- we should resist their attempt to prevent the company from having an opportunity to present their mine plan through long-established permitting processes.

The company has said this (paraphrased): "If it's a choice between a mine and fish, we choose fish. But let us have a chance to prove that we can have both." The EPA does not want to allow them this chance.

"Native council seeks to rescind comments backing EPA mine study," July 16, 2013, Alaska Daily News

The writer of this Seeking Alpha article tells us only this: "Despite Pebble's protests, the native tribes' request to invoke section 404(c)..."

An important fact has been omitted. I wonder what else we are not being told?

  • Flu Stocks For Investors To Consider [View article]
NNVC (NanoViricides) is worth a look. Best anti-flu approach I've seen - nanoscale "venus flytraps" that kill viruses - do not leave the bloodstream - just wait for a virus to attach to them and then kill it by pulling it apart without use of a drug. So far no side effects noticed after tests on 5,000 animals. Currently building a cGMP manufacturing facility in Shelton, CT.

  • 2 Overvalued Pseudo-Pharmaceuticals Revisited [View article]
I would treat the flood of positive reviews with skepticism except for the fact that I have witnessed astonishing reversals of inflammation related conditions in a few people to whom I have recommended or given Anatabloc.

"These vaporware news releases were quickly discredited by Star Scientific skeptics" — Read these and decide for yourself if these are "vaporware". Please note the academic affiliations of the authors.

The principal ingredient of Star's product, Anatabloc, is anatabine. Here are four peer reviewed studies on the effect of anatabine on inflammation:

    1) “Anatabine lowers Alzheimer's Aβ production in vitro and in vivo” published in the European Journal of Pharmacology
    11/30/11

    2) “Anatabine Ameliorates Experimental Autoimmune Thyroiditis” published in Endocrinology – Online 7/17/12, Print 9/1/12
    http://1.usa.gov/12aMCNj

    3) “Anti-inflammatory activity of anatabine via inhibition of STAT3 phosphorylation” published in the European Journal of Pharmacology – 1/5/13
    http://1.usa.gov/YzoZrG

    4) “Amelioration of Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis by Anatabine” published in PLOS ONE – 1/30/13

I do not regard these studies as "vaporware."
