That was some rally. You are quite the Bear. But it seems we saw the bottom, though I agree there are some bumps ahead. We need to get through the GM problems. Once General Motors finalizes their plan and get past the B word. But no one knows if they will avoid the B word. I hope they can. I do not hold any GM stock but I do hold some of the Banks. Holding long term hoping to ride out the storm.

We are looking at some nervous times right now. I do not hold any GS at this time but, I have made money trading the stock. Let's be careful as we enter earnings season and watch the news on GM. I am just not sure what is coming from General Motors as they struggle with the Bondholders and the Union.

I will just keep buying the big dips and selling the rips and taking money out slowly. Greed will play again and then it may be time to focus more and more on cash.
The main problem in my opinion is: The Fed and the government had and has their head in the sand. The loan system was so screwed up with the types of loans available. Stated income and rampant variable rate loans made the system doomed to fail. And surprise it did in fact fail, blow up in our faces.

I wish all that was not true. But we have had a great run. Time to take some profits when we can and look to place cash back in over time. Can't time the market but sure don't want to be all in when we are all down.
