Why I'm Closing My Position in MFA Mortgage Investments
YOU must have bought at the totally wrong time.
i recently bought CMO, MFA, and NLY. i took profits when the gains reached 30% and now am sitting on nice positions.
i would have to say, you tried to time the market and FAILED.
the name of article should be " Why i don't care what you're selling"

AND i don't even think you know your own companies. FCX is Freeport Mcmoran copper and gold.
if you're going to write on a blog on stocks, can you please at least get your ticker symbols correct.

HaHaHaHa, i just sit here laughing, i can't believe some idiot sits in here and types in a supposed history lesson and a poor one at that. there is no continuous argument throughout, just a bunch of dates and numbers.
tony s., mommy just called you, it's time to change your diaper.

V is a great stock, but you guys that think it's going to $200 in the next couple months are out of your mind.
i don't think V is as big a secret as MA was a couple years back. it's been the only IPO talked about for the last 6 months. anything this hyped is usually short term disappointing, solid fundamentals or not.

Jones Soda's Failures: Blame the Board
yea, what a shame. this company has blown up.
and if the price keeps dropping,"by meaningful" they might have to buy 200k+ to impress.
Don't you almost feel like you could go in there and run this company better? they had so much potential 18 months ago, it's unbelievable.

All Commodities Extremely Overbought Except OJ
HaHa overbought AGAIN. SLV stills goes up, GLD still goes up, even the DBA is up since the last time he wrote this dribble.
same story, different day. just another guy who is way, way behind the commodities trade.

True Wall of Worry Lies in Commodities, Not Equities
[Comment edited for abusive language. Commenter put on notice] i wouldn't say perma bulls are wrong 50% of the time. just look at a 30 year chart of the S&P, i don't see equal downslopes to upslopes, not even close.
i think maybe, YOU , are getting frustrated by trying to trade the news of the moment.
why not turn off all the pundits and try to have an opinion of your own? no one has the balls to go out on their own. they all need the positive re-enforcement of reading other articles or posts that solidify their view. they all need some one to tell them they are "right".
i don't need that at all. my crutch is the money i make. money lately has been made with SDS, GLD, SLV, DBA. live with it buddy!!

Time to Get Serious About Utilizing Short ETFs
i've been hitting the SDS and QID heavy since Dec. i just loaded back up on Wed and Thur when the VIX and VXN were almost touching their 200day MAs. that's when they're the cheapest. there is a 50% correlation between those 2 ETFs and their index's volatility.
and don't forget the DBA. just another good play on inflation and the worldwide shortage in foods.

all these PEs are based on forward earnings that are still to be lowered. don't be suckered in by low PEs.
as far as crammer goes. he is a self advertising. money squandering schill. why anyone would want to listen to him is beyond me? simple investigation shows that most of his suggestions are totally backwards.

Commodity ETFs Overbought; Gold Least So
if you want to talk about something hitting resistance, let's talk about the S&P. Its coming right back up near its 500day MA. If it breaks, i will be EXTREMELY surprised.

wow, another SA article saying the DBA is overbought. i have been reading about that since the middle of January. 2 out of every 3 articles says so. huh? and it continues to go up.
they need to also say that these "overbought/overs... discrepancies can be cleared up in days.
I think they try to knock it down a little, so they can get a better entry point.

i have heard arguments on both sides of the "uptick rule" change last summer. the both have good points.
but what's funny to me is, if you look at a S&P chart. it does seem that a rush of volatility did hit the market soon after the rule change....hm
