      Go West - thanks for the comment. I would agree that Buffett is maybe over-used. To the extent that his quotes are used as marketing material I would also agree that this can be disingenuous. If you are going to talk the talk (even if it's Buffett's talk) then you better walk the walk. And as you say, that is very difficult. It is precisely this difficulty, and the often "lonely life" of the value investor that keeps me going back to Buffett's (and many others') quotes for inspiration and guidance. It is very easy to lose your way when the market tells you daily that you're a dope. Yes I put one very commonly cited quote in there, but I usually try to dig out less known nuggets. I am writing on Vestopia not for Investment professionals but for everyday folks, so I hope that I can introduce them to something they haven't heard before, something that might make them think, something that differs from the usual Wall Street tripe.
