  • Tonix May Not Need Final Trial [View article]
I'm really confident and hopeful the results are good both because TNXP is recently my largest holding and the fact my girlfriend of 5 years has FM. That's what attracted me to TNXP in the first place. I've really noticed that on days when she says she slept poorly she feels noticeably worse all day pain wise and the days when she says she slept ok (she never sleeps really well) she is obviously much more energetic and happy. I also have a lot of friends from active duty with PTSD so on many levels I can't wait for this drug to be shown to be effective and get approved.

  • Why This Is The Most Hated Bull Market Of All Time - Understanding The Folly Of Financial Engineering [View article]
Funny you bring up XOM because I happen to own it and I was buying it at 86 last year just around the same time Buffett was. You and Cuban are obviously right about the amount of money we can make but you can receive the same exact return on your investment as the big guys like Buffett. Buffett didn't get where he is buy buying a ton of stock in companies like XOM at my age though and I anticipate the bulk of my gains coming from more "risky" value plays (not that I ever expect to be as successful as Buffett) but I have set aside a certain portion of my portfolio for large cap dividend aristocrats for some safety and dividend growth. Nevertheless, if Buffett, Tim, and Ted are still investing and buying I'm comfortable with holding and looking for additional opportunities, they are still out there!

  • Why This Is The Most Hated Bull Market Of All Time - Understanding The Folly Of Financial Engineering [View article]
I think the only people who hate this bull market are those like you who have been sitting out since 2012. All this talk of long term investing and speculation and coin tosses brings to mind for me, the greatest investor ever, Buffett. Who, by the way has been investing and buying companies this whole time. I think I'll be holding onto my portfolio a little bit longer.

  • Are Growth Stocks Appropriate For Retirement Portfolios? [View article]
I'm pretty far away from retirement but I actually prefer growth stocks and speculative investments in my Roth because I can sell when they hit my price targets no matter how quickly they get there and I don't have to worry about taxes on my gains. I keep most of my DGI stocks and stalwarts in my regular account. Actually just added FB to my Roth today and really pleased with their performance.

I can't buy shares on the London exchange through my broker and SA shows today's volume at 400. Too bad, I do like the idea.

  • ConocoPhillips: Poised To Outperform [View article]
It's at about 86, and you think it's going to go to 120 within 17 months but you're not buying. I would be interested to hear where you are looking to park you're money for a better return?

  • Micron And DRAM Cost [View article]
Always enjoy your articles Jaret, thanks for another great one. It's been a rare occurrence for me to find a company like Micron where smart investors and authors consistently highlight the positives yet the market continues to not fully appreciate it's value. Been buying since it was at ~13 and have not heard a good argument for selling yet. Thanks again.

  • Should You Add Wal-Mart Or Target To Your Portfolio For Dividend Growth? [View article]
The bad news about Target is pretty well known and has taken it's toll on the stock already. I bought last week at just under 58 because of the yield and because I think things will improve from here. Canada is the big risk and I don't like the fact that they don't seem to be putting much emphasis on online sales. If they can fix that (and I believe they will) and execute internationally it should be good for another 44 years.

This article is better than the article. I also view Samsung being such a large customer as a positive in this case They've built a solid relationship which is important and Samsung is not a bad customer to have.

  • Supreme Court upholds software patents, but sets limits [View news story]
Hardly a landmark decision but it sounds good for all companies looking to protect their patents. The abstract ideas clause is statutory and they have never been considered patent eligible, and they have upheld the idea that software is patentable.

Nothing really new here but a good reminder of why I've been holding my shares. Been thinking about adding but I think I'm going to wait until after the earnings report.
