China Biotech Week in Review: East-West Interdependence in 2007 [View article]
A lot of U.S. bio-pharma companies are taking stakes in established entities listed on the Hong Kong exchange. Though we probably won't see pops like we would in Chinese companies listed in the U.S. It could be something to gamble on for the long-term. You can pick them up for pennies on the dollar per share but most of the time are required to buy in blocks of thousands.
Wasn't gold this high around 1980? I think it only goes high when oil does. We will probably see it go back down to where it likes to be which is around 400 +/- once this whole globalisation fad kicks overs. I'd only expect it to reach true value to inflation (2,000+) if our planet's environment begins to crash or the U.S. economy goes bust.
You can hire all the economists in the world and still can't measure or predict the human psyche.
When one sees change and feels change and experiences change and that change is positive for his/her environment, a state or euphoria presides over all.
What Should Apple do with Its $15B in Cash? [View article]
Apple should invest back into the country that made it great. I'm sick of all these Americans making billions here and then giving it all away or investing it out of the country. Apple should invest in the infrastructure here in America. Build a light-rail system in California along the 101 or something. We are being left out as these companies make billions here and invest it all overseas.
An Analysis of the E*Trade-Citadel Deal [View article]
I think E-Trade offers users the best bang for their buck. I considered many other firms to open accounts with and E-Trade had everything I wanted. I doubt they will go bankrupt and disappear.
China's Become the Whipping Boy for U.S. Stagflation and European Protectionism [View article]
Isn't it ashame what happens when little kids with new money behave badly? When one gets a fat head and bites the hand that feeds it? Such a shame! It is WW3 but in financial terms, not military, at least for now not. I do agree that the West has become mentally and in many respects physically impotent and incompetent and the East is rising rapidly and hungry for idea, innovation and progress. This is something the West needs to rapidly adapt to or risk losing it's "face" in the world. I personally live in America and was born in America but after living in the East for some time, I realize that America and its' government is becoming a bloated man-pig on crutches without a chance for gaining leaders with vision as the political system is full of fakes and slimeballs who enjoy collecting their easy money and fat pensions and the population that votes has become severely dumbed down by the media and drugged-up by the pharmaceutical industry, oh and the food we eat and toys we buy for our kids poison us and we look to blame and sue others for our own ignorance and ill-complacency.
