Cramer's Mad Money - Trouble in Wynn City (2/2/09) [View article]
I would hate to know that I had to invest in anything that Jim Cramer recommended. Seems to me like he just wants to act like he knows something when he dont. If nobody paid any more attention to him than I do, he would be out of a job. In todays market, nobody knows what to do including Jim Cramer. He is a big blow. Not meaning to be ugly about it, just stating a fact as I see it.

Right on dsrtwriter. I am in the same boat as you. I am not giving my stocks to anybody. It is too late to jump out now. One thing about it, when they go back up we will benefit from waiting. I have got too much time invested to go back now. Manitowoc is a good company and they cant help if the bottom has fell out of the economy. Sooner or later, it will rebound. Patience is the policy.

As for as I know, there was no sale of the ice making division. They have, instead acquired another food section with the focus on, not ice, but hot foods. They already have their freezer and ice deal. They make freezers and coolers and walkin freezers and coolers and ice machines and goodness knows, what else. The only sale of anything that I know anything about is their ship yards. Dealing with big ships, you know. No ice to that.
I have never lost faith in Manitowoc. If this economy ever gets turned around, Manitowoc will thrive. I have stocks with them and needless to say, I will be happy if they ever go up.
Sorry you feel that way. I worked for a division of Manitowoc for 26 years and in all of that time everything that they tried turned to money. I have faith in them and I feel like that they will come out on top this time too. It will take a while. Why dont you sell all of your stock and get out? Janie
