      Sirius's Short Story
Not always the case. If something good happens with this stock and the price starts to move up, there can be all kind of scenarios emerging.
It is always a question of supply and demand. People will not give the stock away because they have seen it down for a long time. If this stock becomes desirable, it will be a nightmare for the shorts.
(Is there a chance of XM being halted for the transaction to go through? This is a factor also!)

Bank of America Weighs In On XM/SIRI Merger
How would you feel if you needed to buy a seperate radio for FM and another one for AM?
What if you had to pay subscriptions for both?

Well that's about the case with satelite radio. If they keep it apart they will make it an iconvenient luxury with "high churn rates".

I just want baseball and NFL from the same service that's all.

If the DOJ, the FCC and anyone else involved aren't smart enough to understand this, they might as well turn it off completely. I can still use my FM radio - for free - anyway.
