iPhone 3G Speeds: More Cingular Mediocrity
People can call the phone whatever they want without having to get it approved by Christians first. Anyone who uses their religious sensibilities as a cudgel to alter other people's behavior is no better than the Taliban, or radical Muslims who burn buildings down because you apparently aren't allowed to draw cartoons depicting him.

America protects the freedom of speech and freedom to practice (or even not practice) religion. We're free to talk about other religions, and even to make fun of them. It's part of living in a multicultural and tolerant society. Welcome to the modern world. If you don't like it, I'm sure there are some religious theocracies elsewhere in the world where you can enjoy stoning to death financial analysts, artists, musicians, bloggers, and others who might choose to make light of religion.

Apple's Problems - Bad to the Core?
"Speaking of fire, the company also had a major problem roughly ten days ago when a fire erupted at its Research and Development building on the grounds of its headquarters on the infamous 1 Infinite Loop campus."

If you want an example of how bogus this whole article is, look no further than this paragraph.

The fire was apparently caused by some welders installing a new AC unit. The second floor of a building about a mile away from 1 Infinite Loop was affected. The building houses mostly internal support staff. Anyone with 30 seconds could pull up a heap of San Jose Mercury articles covering the whole thing.

Trying to extrapolate that into "major problems" in its "R&D building" is really showing how gullible or perhaps outright malicious this blog author is .... naturally, the rest of his article is riddled with factual holes and wishful thinking too.

Why is Apple So Disconnected From Its Fundamentals?
Sorry - who has been duplicating and improving upon the iPod and iPhone? Last I checked, they were still on top of their games. They blew away the competition when introduced, and have stayed on top because no competitors have the brains or gumption to improve on them.

iPhones Sell Themselves in Everyday Tasks
You must be going to a supermarket with WiFi. I was in Chipotle the other day and I started trying to visit a favorite news site at the end of a long line. By the time I reached the counter, my page had still not loaded. I can seldom spare the time to wait for the craptacular EDGE network.

Does the weather widget show "rain of fire and brimstone" in church? I wouldn't know, I haven't been in a church ever since I developed my own set of morals.
