Mississippian Pure Play Comparative Valuation - Osage, Red Fork And AusTex [View article]
Hi Josh,
I am also including Doxa Energy, looking at their 3600 Net acres in the Mississippian Oil Play, and their Market cap at a mere $2.98MM, then for every million dollars spent one would get 1245 acres/$MM. i also emailed them to ask them their BOEPD for Mississippi only, they responded with 60 BOEPD for YE 2012, i will use this number, maybe this has increased, not sure though. So, Doxa Energy's BOEPD/$MM is 20. From your metric Doxa is in another world, yet they are on the Toronto venture exchange. i am not sure how to get the number of units of Osage with Doxa's metrics, i would be curious to see that also if you dont mind doing it. However, i am not sure what Doxa's growth rate is, but applying your metrics today on Doxa's Mississippian play only, as they have additional production elsewhere, this company is clearly miss-priced.

This article is interesting and shows two views to Silver Standard as you are bullish and another person i follow is bearish and the funny thing is both articles came out today. If you are interested in viewing it, the link is below. Basically he is saying that SSRI cash cost to produce an ounce of silver is close to 29 - 30.00/Oz and its clear based on their share price they have under performed the physical for a while now.
I am sure this is paper trading, i doubt he means sell ones physical holdings. i look forward to cheaper gold and silver, i just get to buy more physical cheaper as i view my wealth in ounces, not in toilet paper.
Do you think they will have financing issues with regards to the commitments on the joint oil block? Also in their third quarter statement there is a going concern note, which means there could be big trouble ahead (asset writedowns, etc) if it can't raise money. Also, do you think tax loss selling is also putting pressure on the stock?

Dr. Leeb, as someone who speaks regularly on King World News, i am surprised you would guide people towards GLD when GLD is a paper proxy to gold. Firstly, anyone who wants physical gold from the GLD would have to at least own 100,000 shares. and if they are rich enough to own that much, it is up to the GLD to even decide whether to deliver the physical as they have the right not to. I would have expected you would recommend direct physical ownership or maybe Sprott Physical Gold Trust. $PHYS

Hi Josh, Have you ever come across Doxa Energy? If not, could you take a quick look and give your initial thoughts. They seem to have potential, however, not too sure how the execution is going. DXA.V or DXAEF. Shares are tightly held, they seem to be adverse to shareholder dilution.
