  • The Trade That Netted Me More Than A 2,000% Return [View article]
    Sour grapes Beni?

No disrespect, but I humbly loved reading Jeff's story.

Jeff, the play now is Jan 16 options at 100 strike. Thanks for sharing your ride, those of us who have been on the ride with you appreciate your article. Must I say it again? Facebook is the greatest form of mass media communication in the history of man. Be well.

  • Facebook: Concerning User Trends March On [View article]
Once again SF, your myopic eyes are unable to see the future of FB, but it's good that you add your "short" sighted views on FB giving those who appreciate the future potential of FB more enjoyable and satisfying crushing quarterly earnings reports, not to mention unprecedented paydays. Continue your comments while ignoring the fact that Facebook is the greatest form of mass communication in the history of man. "The fallacy is that it never ends well for social sites and especially ones trading for nearly 12x forward revenue."…at least you stopped short of mentioning MySpace. Well Stone, can't wait to see your next negative comments about FB.

  • Here's How Facebook Is Beating Google [View article]
    Justin really?

Open your short bearish Zuck hating eyes for a minute and you will see past the myopia. Now with those Justin eyes open, look at all those people you see around you. Those things in their hands are mobile devices that they are on nearly all of the time. Those same people (billions of those eyes) are not watching TV commercials (who watches TV ads anymore with DVR fast forward?), they do not listen to radio ads but instead change the station when ads come on their radio, and must we compare today's FB to the telegraph? (might as well have included cave hieroglyphics with the telegraph Justin).

On the other hand, if someone who uses FB, (and again, good for you and the other 9% of the world that won't be using FB in a few short years) wishes to click on something of interest, well they may just view a short personally directed ad based on their "likes" and dislikes.

Must I really "make the argument" for you? As some of my attorney friends say, "Res Ipsa Loquitar" my friend, or do you not believe the recent crushing earnings report and forward projections of FB dominance of mobile video advertising? FB will continue to take advertising dollars away from TV, radio, and I guess in your world, telegraphs, for years to come.

As for "tautology", it is defined as :
    Tautology may refer to:
Tautology (rhetoric), a self-reinforcing pretense of significant truth
Tautology (grammar), the use of redundant words
Tautology (logic), a universal truth in formal logic

Choose any of the above definitions and you are correct, it is tautology as well as fact (universal truth) that Facebook is the greatest form of mass media communication in the history of man. Good luck and be well.

By the way, best regards to your short friends Monfere, Andy, and the bunch. The absence of comments since Q2 earnings reports has been deafening.

  • Update: Facebook Delivers Stellar Earnings [View article]
Sounds like the 11 people in the world who don't use FB all got together in the above comments to lament another quarter of crushing Wall St. predictions, within hours of the reports!

Unbelievable bashing directed towards a company that is just beginning to show it's revenue potential. If I'm betting on anyone here, it's Mr. Zuckerberg and his collective genius and not the whining of those SA "commentators" who just don't get it.

Like it or not, Facebook is the greatest form of mass media communication in the history of man. Be well!

Fox, good for you and the other 11% of people in the world who don't use FB, waiting for FB to be another myspace. Problem is that Facebook is the greatest form of mass media communication in the history of man, and we have only seen the tip of the iceberg of it's potential monetization. Be well.

  • Study: Facebook and Twitter usage slips, with Instagram gaining [View news story]
$6 billion in cash My. We can agree to disagree. Comparing our percentage capital gains at this point is insignificant as the main point is will you make money going short or long FB over the next few years. That being said, I'm happy with my gains thus far staying long with stock and call options which have doubled your gains without many trades. You either see Facebook's potential (me) or you don't (you). Good luck, be well.

  • Facebook Is A Buy, $85 Price Target Is Possible For 2014 [View article]
    Please enlighten us Dar.

Are there any Chinese government restrictions on TenCentQQ, which seems to be the best form of mass media communication in history in your opinion? Are there any censorship or limitation issues from a controlling authoritarian government?

FB (1.2 Bil +) went public two years ago, 10Cent (800 Mil) went public 9 years ago. 10Cent must have been growing slowly during it's first 9 years, perhaps it is growing more quickly now. After all, China has a hugh population to draw upon. If you are a one in a million type of guy or girl in China, there are still 1,392 of you in your own country! (based on pop. of 1,392,472,656).

Today's Los Angeles Times reports in an article entitled, "'Big Bang' Pulled From China Sites" that, "Portals including Sohu, Youku, and Tencent have snatched up scores of foreign TV series in recent years, offering programs such as "Two Broke Girls", "Mad Men", and "Breaking Bad"….The Chinese government cracking down on streaming services could have major consequences for these Internet portals, said Su Jie, an online video market analyst with Analysys International. Already Sohu's stock traded in New York has been hammered, dropping more the 6% on Monday…"

If there are Chinese governmental restrictions on TencentQQ, then despite your views, I far prefer a company (Mr. Zuckerberg's) whose mission is to connect the world without authoritarian censorship. Call me pretentiously myopic, but Facebook remains the greatest form of mass media communication in history, even at it's early undeveloped stage of where it is ultimately heading.

By the way Dar, a quick internet search of "The Best Soda in the History of the World" leads to http://bit.ly/1fwzKbk which, as you suggested in your comment, has Coke as the most popular soda drink in history. Just as Coke is not the only drink in the world, FB is not the only form of mass media communication.

Never have I said that FB is the only form of mass media communication; pretentious or not, Facebook is just the best that our world has seen in history, that's with or without my glasses on to correct my near-sightedness. The true short sighted myopics are unable to see the incredible potential future of FB. Thanks for you comments, be well.

He hurt earnings two reports ago as well with his comments about
"teens leaving FB" and the fact that 2013 Q4 results would be down compared to 2012 Q4 because 2012 was based on 4 months vs '13 based on 3 months. Be well.
