I think a lot of people can relate to this article. I had the same problem - I was stuck in a "secure" Accounting job for the money but never really thought it was for me. Luckily, I had a chance to get away from it and start what I love to do - Investing!

  • Reuters: BlackBerry open to going private [View news story]
Wish it would be that much but there is no real indication that there will be a deal done in the first place. I think $16-$19/share would make sense though

  • BlackBerry Can Engage In Value Creation Through Preservation [View article]
My point is that you gotta look at things long-term. You think Warren Buffet once in a while didn't get in trouble with his investments, or Peter Lynch, or Templeton?

I look at long-term success of these guys and I think to myself that I should listen and pay attention to what they say because these guys will CONTINUE to be successful, Prem Watsa WILL grow shareholder value in Fairfax for example. In addition, it is not the total reason that I invested in BBRY, I truly believe the stock is undervalued... Please let me know what YOU invest in..

Prem Watsa is not stupid, he wouldn't invest if he didn't see #1 very good value and #2 long-term potential. And it is not a coincidence that he averaged 20%+ return over 25 years... Time will tell..
