The Coming of a U.S. Savings Culture?

I always enjoy your articles.
On the point of Americans becoming savers, even when the economy recovers, I have my doubts.
I see economic recovery being accompanied by dollar inflation, as the Fed agressively mopping up liquidity would immediately strangle the recovery.
Inflation will not encourage saving; it will, once again, encourage taking on debt.
