    Seperating Sears into a retial owner and a REIT would uncover the value in the real estate. The only trouble is that making the retail Sears paying a fair market rent would probably force it go bankrupt in a year or two.

    FMO and TYG are leveraged. That means more risky than BSR, which is an ETN. BSR is a good idea for investor who wants to own all the major midstream MLPs. The downside is that there are a lot of small positions in smaller (and may be risker) MLPs. But with FMO, TYG and BSR, you don't have to deal with K-1.

    The most conservative (stable payout in the future) is probably SEP. EPB is the other one. However, the payout is a lot lower than that of the ones mentioned in the article.

    Blackrock has a couple non leverage high yield muni CEFs, APX and MUA. They have much lower yield comparing to HYD but I think CEFs are managed and the managers can avoid positions in undesirable sectors. APX is also trading at a small discoiunt to NAV.
