On the assumption that the substantial profits from most of the "sophisticated financial instruments" have vanished, or over the next five years are significantly reduced, where do the profits come from for that nasty little ratio of P/E ? This may be a long slooooooooooooow grind (5 yrs +) for the financials in general and possible short quick grind (1 yr) for a few.
