I just don't understand this bottom feeding mentality with Dell purchases. They are the clunkiest machines on the market. And, as a company, Dell is having some major issues. Why buy into that as an IT department?
Dell has proven to be a poor long term investment. It has only made ends meet by laying off about 9,000 people recently. They are trying to sell off their manufacturing plants. Their profits are razor thin.
The big problem is that Dell tends to do derivative design work too long after the original has run at Apple. And in cheap plastic. Their new all-in-one is just the latest in a long line of ho-hum designs.
