Is This the Death of Gold & Silver Stocks?
PAUL&SHARK&MAR... no one cares what a great day trader you are. If some one like you were bullish on gold and gold stocks then I'd be worried.

Good move dumping GFI it will be good when power is restored but who know when that will be. Should stick with gold though should have bought AUY or AEM

I'd stay away from South African miners (GFI) too many power problems will cause losses. Barrick does have some hedges in its books, I think AUY and AEM are the lowest cost producers on your list and should have the most upside.

Junior Mining Companies Primed for Big Gains
Newmont's CEO recently said that they are not finding the reserves they need, I think that's a sign that buyouts will happen.

As far as Majors investing in Juniors there is a lot of that going on; Terrane got financing from Goldcorp and Goldcorp has an option to buy into the company, Agnico Eagle has a good sized stake in Golden Goliath, Riverside Resources is now partially owned by Kinross. Let the majors do the due dilligence on the juniors for you.

CEF is also a closed end fund so it can (and has) traded at a premium to the gold/silver price, but for US investors be sure to check with your tax adviser since its a passive foregin investment, you can get capital gains treatment if you file the right forms.

Decent list, I'd remove GFI since the power problems are just beggining, maybe add AEM and NEM to the list.
