CMG PCLN AMZN AAPL GOOG MSFT continue march upward. No signs of any bearish momentum what so ever.

    • OneLongTrade: Bearish momentum can't occur without there being a downtrend. Next catalyst is earnings. Until then the march continues.

    • jdub2788: Not looking for a down trend...looking for a correction. remember those?
      3/21/12
    • OneLongTrade: Yeah, yesterday. That's all you get in this market.
      3/21/12
    • jdub2788: Corrections are not downward moves that last for mins/hours. Maybe I'm mistaken in my views though.

    • OneLongTrade: And normal markets don't appreciate this rapidly. But guess history doesn't matter when you're printing money so fast you can't spend it.

    • Husky Financial: Everything changed when Bernanke extended his 0% interest rate pledge until forever... Funds started realizing that JNJ and KO were worth
      3/21/12
    • Husky Financial: the risk to get 3-4% yield, double the 10 year treasury. Nasdaq has surged, but the yield of the DOW is what brought the risk-on environment
      3/21/12
    • OneLongTrade: I don't mind funds buyJNJ and KO hand over fist. I mind them buying no div garbage p/e tech companies like it's 1999 and 2000 never happened

    • Husky Financial: once its Risk On its Risk ONNNNN... funds lagged hard in 2011 &even first 2 months of 2012. If you didnt have AAPL u were in the dust

    • Husky Financial: i have been arguing against CMG for ages and alas, the MOMO still has juice. i think CRM is more on Mkt. Cap/opportunity than their p/e
      3/21/12
    • Husky Financial: i like N in the cloudspace and their p/e is astronomical too.. i think there will be a lot of consolidation in the small-midcap cloud space
      3/21/12
    • Husky Financial: correction: N does not yet have a p/e lol
      3/21/12
    • OneLongTrade: CRM has provided little hope they'll ever make money. They continue to pay their employees tons of stock and use that to report non-GAAP
      3/21/12
    • OneLongTrade: earnings. The real earnings are abysmal and to trade at this valuation is highway robbery. Yet it continues.
      3/21/12
    • Husky Financial: yeah i have read a bunch of articles on the GAAP/non-GAAP stuff...CRM should be in the toilet by now.
      3/21/12
    • Husky Financial: i think with the momo names, it comes down to making money. They are hard names to short so traders just run long with em until they die
      3/21/12
    • Husky Financial: Kind of like in True Grit where the old dude rides the horse until he has a heart attack, i imagine thats how funds trade the MOMOs
