  • Coca-Cola Slurps Up Growth Led By Emerging Markets [View article]
I am the retired Medical Services Director of Santa Barbara, County. I had to retire in 1999 because I have Multiple Sclerosis but with then new medications of today, I am doing quite well. B.S. from Loyola Mary-mount of L.A. as well as a M.B.A. in 1982. Was Maternal Child Health Manager at U.C.L.A. Medical Center before Santa Barbara.
I have been buying KO stock for past 5 years or so and intend for those shares to eventually pay for a college degree for my grandson, who is 3 years old. I know the family of one of the prior C.E.O.'s of Coca Cola who lives in Hyattville Wyoming and has a great ranch. I buy stock through Computer Shares, I have always liked the smart moves that Coca Cola makes.

  • Notable earnings after Friday’s close: CCJ, MTGE [View news story]
Born and raised in Anderson, Indiana. Attended Indiana University, University of Maryland, University of Alaska and Loyola University of Los Angeles. B.S. in Biology, and M.B.A. Worked at U.C.L.A. Medical Center as Maternal Child Health Manager and later Medical Services Director of Santa Barbara County. Use to play a lot of tennis and golf, but came down with Multiple Sclerosis and had to retire in 1999. Love to write, especially editorials. My personal feeling now is that morethan half of this country is asleep at this time.
