YHOO is my home page. I continue to see improvements in my homepage and mail. I also am seeing a lot more advertising, although annoying as a stockholder since the week before the BABA IPO I happily am putting up with the annoyance.

I have both KMP and EPB and do not mind sharing my gain with my Uncle Sam! It was a great ride and W/O the MLP KMI will get a higher financial rating and thus reduce their interest expense

ACAS does not pay a dividend but is buying back shares. Then why is it not hitting 52-week highs as most companies that are not buying back shares? Do investors see something that we do not? As the shares outstanding are reduced the stock price would increase because the assets and earning are spread over fewer shares, you would thing.

  • Is Alibaba Worth More Than Wal-Mart? [View article]
+ BABA is in a expanding market in China. WMT is in a shrinking market in the US.

+ WMT and AMZN must to out and borrow money while BABA has no inventory.

+ US consumers are switching to stores like Whole Foods.

+ In the US you are viewed on as being poor if you shop at WMT, in Chinese people who buy on BABA are viewed on as being tech savie.

Which company would you invest in?

  • Shale Oil Stocks: Do Not Count On A Major Slowdown In The U.S. Oil Production Growth [View article]
I think that low oil prices crushes Venezuela, whish is good! and Keystone which if the Canadian /US boarder segment is not built would be very beneficial to Bakken oil which can then use the US segment of Keystone to get that oil ti gulf refineries.

  • Alcoa - We Should Listen To What Smart Money Is Saying [View article]
The biggest cost in aluminum production is electricity. Electricity price will have as big if not bigger factor on AA bottom line than LME price. We are in a NG exploration boom. At more and more electricity is produced by cheap NG rather than dirty coal, AA's advantage in the aluminum production will increase over China production. Perhaps the greenies will caught on to this and try to boycott China aluminum production.

Aluminum is also used it high voltage electrical transmission lines, not copper. With the replacement of coal plants with NG plants new transmission lines will have to be built with aluminum. Also, auto companies like Ford, are going to use a larger percentage of structural aluminum in car bodies.
With aerospace, more light weight aluminum being used in car production and the need to reinforce our HV transmission grid, aluminum will be more in demand. Did you read AA has developed a new and cheaper alloy for vehicle bodies? Also, aluminum supply is tanking at 10,000 ton/day.
    Check out:

Lastly the PE's in the article are TTM; look at forward PE and PE growth doe AA. AS expenses go down, aluminum prices go up. the PE will increase for AA.
