AuthenTec: A Good Company at a Cheap Price
I been following this company aggressively since your first mention of AUTH. I generally do not follow small growth companies, but the firm has my undivided attention. I think the potential is staggering for their technology, vitually limitless applications.

I doubled my position in the last few days. No one will see my shares for many years to come. I am definitely a long term holder. I still only have about 60% of my intended position on.

Thanks for your updates and hard work. It is appreciated.

Is Tractor Supply Co. Finally Cheap Enough
I agree 100%. I have been a lng term holder. Recently, under 30, I have aggressively expanded my holding. I am rarely aggressive, but when I see value, especially in what I view as a solid growth story, I go after it.

I am a long term holder. See you all in 10 years much higher. I am keeping all of my shares.

      Just my opinion.

I have been holding the AOD. I recently began accumulating agressively. I like that fact that the yield is generaged by good old fashion hard work and not leverage.

WisdomTree and Dreyfus Team Up to Launch Currency ETFs
I hope they are able to expand the scurrency coverages. Norway would be a great start. I would love to see them rollout worldwide.

Has anyone seen backtesting info. I will need to visit the Wisdomtree site again, I may have missed it. I have not looked again since issuance.

The Humble Arithmetic of Portfolio Management
Great article, thank you! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I forwarded to several friend, colleagues and clients.

I follow an extreme diversification approach. Then I throw on top, what I call dynamic rebalancing.

I have an overall guiding asset allocation model for my portfolios. I then use %risk position sizing for each holding in a class. Then I employ a simple dynamic harvesting/rebalancing strategy. When a holding rallies 25% above its given allocation, I look to take profits. When an allocation falls 25% below its given allocation, I look to add.

      Defining Alternative Asset Classes
Here is my asset allocation model:
      Diversifed Income 30%
      Equities 30% (20 Domestic, 10% Foreign)
      Hard Assets 15%
      Alterntive/Real Return/Hedging 10%
      Cash/T-bills/TIPs 5%
      Speculative 5%
Special Opportunites 5% or held as cash

I then position size everything using %risk

      Defining Alternative Asset Classes
I find this topic extremely interesting and useful. I propose a sharing of ideas or listing of symbols. Together we are stronger than alone. I will start:

      In my portfolio:

ARBFX - exposure to arbitarge opportunities

ALD & ACAS - Business development companies
(I also watch PSEC & GLAD)

      DBV - currency exposure
(I am going to research the new Widsometree currency funds and potentially add China and India)

EFR & FCO: Floating rate funds
      (I also sprinkle in PSAFX)

      IGR: International Real Estate
(I have been watching the Wisdomtree one as well)

IRR & GGN: Gold & Natural resource exposure

MIC & MFD: Infrastructure & international utilities

PCL: exposure to lumber & land
      (have been watching CUT)

      RJI - overall commodity exposure

      RYMZX - futures

The I have another category, I term excellence, or great, unique management, exaples: BRK -B, LUK, MKL, LTR, TAVFX, etc.

Well that is a start. Hopefully, I spurred some thought. Please sure your thoughts, ideas or links. Lets build a list of alternative assets.
