    the Fed and the Gov't have been throwing money at this for almost two years, and the problems keep getting worse. their actions and policies are the problem, not the solution. how did fiscal/monitary policy work out in the 30s and in Japan? seems gov't have a way of turning a 2-3 year problem into a 10+ year problem once they try to fix it. BB and most of Congress had no idea there was a housing bubble while the typical college student thought it was obvious. you give those guys far too much credit.
