Research in Motion is the Talk of the Town [View article]
Lets not forget that Blackberrys are a sign of success, business and being efficient and all the rest. There is really no competition. The phone companies are behind them too, to make more money for themselves too. The growth is going to be gigantic in the world. Buy on dips. It is not too late. Yes, the stock can hang down at times, like any stock, like Google being at 435-490 earlier this year for a couple of months, until it flew and never looked back. RIMM is a can't miss into 2008, but, go in with dips and get out after it goes up 10-15 % in a fast pop. Then, wait and go back in.
Rite Aid Plunges 31%, Stung by ‘Cautious Consumer’ [View article]
Mary Sammons was super weak in her defense of her company and own actions on Cramer's show this week. It was pitiful and inspired no confidence that truly Rite Aid will really become profitable. Before her efforts started 4-5 years ago, the stores were half-empty on things to sell. Now, there are stocked, but, she is not competitive on prices. That is the problem. The consumer will come in, but she has to undercut CVS, Costco, Walmart, and all the others. She needs market share improvement. Forget the margins for now, but get traffic and give great deals to the customers. If not, Rite Aid is the next Circuit City, if not there already. It will be BK in 2 years.
Bill Gross: U.S. Already in Recession [View article]
Some great stocks are in a recession already, so low that it is hard to see them going much lower. They have come down since July, despite the DOW being only 600 points down since July. I really don't care if a recession is here, money can be made anyway with great stocks, already beaten down and thrown away as people scramble to exit. Just dollar average a little on these and you will be rewarded handsomely later on.
