  • New versions of iOS and Mac OS X will be unveiled at Apple's (AAPL +0.8%) June 10-14 WWDC conference, the company announces. Meanwhile, with shares near $400, the sell-side is much more cautious in its post-earnings comments than it was at higher levels. "These Apples won't harvest before fall," writes Deutsche's Chris Whitmore, disappointed at earnings call remarks suggesting major product launches won't arrive until autumn. "Apple needs to introduce a 5-inch iPhone, a new 5S, and a low cost iPhone." Jim Cramer wasn't pleased with the call either. "This is the kind of conference call that was a revolt against management ... management is in complete denial." (previous[View news story]
Cramer is almost always wrong. He just pretends he never said it.
He is symbol deep and knows little about companies.
Screamer epitomizes everything wrong about the current investment environment.

I was not commenting on Intel which is statistically cheap,
My comment was on Screamer who is useless on TV. When
he talks about companies I know well it is clear that he is symbol deep.
My issue is that he should be called out on his many many bad calls.
    There is no accountability.

  • Microsoft (MSFT -0.5%) - yes, Microsoft - is in now a participant in Dell (DELL +2.7%) LBO talks, David Faber reports. Faber's sources claim Microsoft could provide $1B-$3B in mezzanine financing for its third-biggest PC OEM client to help facilitate a deal. No word on whether Microsoft is also looking to further its hardware ambitions along the way. (more on Dell[View news story]
Faber said last week that there was no way that the deal could be done.

  • SolarCity (SCTY +6.2%) is rallying strongly for the second day in a row; today's move could be assisted by favorable remarks from Jim Cramer. "I was negative about SolarCity, but now I think it is an interesting play. I'm thinking this is a good company and a Buy," said the excitable Mad Money host during last night's show. [View news story]

  • Dell's (DELL +7%) LBO price is in a range of $13.50-$14/share, David Faber reports. Interestingly, he adds Silver Lake and other investors are only putting in ~$2B apiece. For that to be true, Dell (current market cap of $22.9B) would be relying on quite a few investors, even after accounting for Michael Dell's 15.7% stake. Shares -0.6% AH. Update: Faber clarifies the equity component of the deal is $2B. He also claims Dell's offshore cash will be repatriated. (Reuters[View news story]
