Insider Trends in the Financial Sector
Here's what Scottrade has to say:

No BAC insider has purchased company stock this year.
No WFC insider has purchased company stock this year.
Insider Sentiment for WB is Neutral
Insider Sentiment for FITB is Neutral
Insider Sentiment for AXP is Neutral
Insider Sentiment for GNW is Neutral
Insider Sentiment for CNB is Neutral

Either Karim's definition of "insider" is different from that of Scottrade, or there is a mistake somewhere.

It seems "like there's no tomorrow" is a bit of an overstatement.

      How is that consistent?

Lots of bold claims and nearly no evidence or references. Try harder next time, shorty.

      Bullish on All Metals
Something called "TheGoldReport&qu... is bullish on metals? What a surprise!

"I'm increasingly fearful about what we’re seeing."

Be greedy when others are fearful.

Perhaps the invention of the 401k, which puts more people in the markets, has resulted in a perpetually higher a higher "base" P/E? Is 19 the new 16?

AMD's Troubles Are Making Intel Investors Nervous
Right now, Intel simply has a superior product line. I would be surprised if they were not eating away at AMD. I say this as a computer engineer, not as a finance guy.

When the Economy Hands You Lemons, Consider Dividend ETFs
In theory there is no difference between dividend payers and non payers. In practice, there is. Dividend payers did better historically. One idea for the reason is that having to make dividend payments reminds management who really owns the company, thereby altering their behavior for the better.

It says right on the chart "2004 dollars" so assume official US Govt. inflation numbers.

Also note you can't compare 2008 medical care to 1964 medical care. Doing so would be like comparing a Ferrari to a horse-drawn carriage.
