    Unfortunately the debt bomb is exploding. I worried about this in the spring of 2007 enough to query my BBT loan officer on the loans they were making. She said 20% down or mortgage insurance, but my BBT stock is still getting killed. Around here near Fredericksburg, Va., the only diesel engines roaring are at the local landfill. Yesterday a very low flying airplane was criscrossing a stalled housing development for 30 minutes. No joy ride here; most likely a vulture sizing things up from the air.
