Agree w/Archman...Too many of the baby boomers who have liquid assets are not apt to invest this $ in equities unless they are assured of a sustained rally in the market.

Many of these folks have seen their neighbors wiped out in '08 and are understandably scared right now.

Just remember, there is no guarantee that the Fed will pull this thing off. Accepting 100% assurance in the Fed's ability to contain this crisis is IMO, downright foolish!

This Recession's Not That Bad - And We're More Than Halfway Through

Andy, my only hope for you is to please put your $ where your sentiments are if you think we are halfway through this recession and you are bullish; then you can publish another article in 6 mos. or so and tell all of us naysayers how incorrect we were. And I hope you are correct...

I trade daily and try not to look forward more than a week @ most and agree with most of the other replies that there is much more downside going forward.

I am a Realtor and member of the NAR and will be the first to admit that you cannot believe a "damn" thing most Realtors tell you as most are struggling to survive. I will give you an honest assessment in my area is that the industry is in crisis and it will be a lengthy drawn out period b-4 it improves.
