Short These Truckers!

If these passenger train projects ever get built, the airlines will suffer, especially high speed trains. Trains and trucks have recently become strange symbiotic entities that depend upon each other when containers or trailers are transported on rails. Trains and trucks are not competitors for bulky cargoes like coal and agricultural products but they can compete when deliveries that are not time sensitive. It seems to me that the trains have been increasing prices lately. This makes it sound like that is not sustainable.
