Energy Conversion Devices: Stock Up 75% Since Earnings
Tommy T: I've been "in" almost as long as you, and of course very happy I stayed. I am interested in their hydrogen fuel cell tech. It appears that: 1- They can make hydrogen using their solar tech. 2- store hydrogen in low pressure containers. 3-make fuel cells to use the hydrogen they produce. 4-power vehicles and much more. 5- perhaps (?) use existing service stations in many areas by installing a roof top solar hydrogen generator and low pressure storage tank for use by fuel cell powered vehicles at the same place ordinary gas powered vehicles fill up.
I keep thinking this is going to happen....... what's your take?

Ben Stein Watch: In Defense of Exxon Mobil
I cannot understand why everyone is objecting. After all, Hillary is so smart, and Obama is so charismatic. I'm SURE they know exactly what to do with all the ripped off profits and it has nothing to do with the "general welfare". It will be only to perpetuate their political power to the detriment of the rest of us.

The Current State of the Solar Energy Sector
I note in the article that the only comment regarding thin film amorphous tech is it's difficult to understand and the conversion efficiency does not seem high enough to compete.

Please enlighten: What is the approximate conversion efficiency of this category? Does the comment refer only to Energy Conversion Devices, which, although cited in the article, is not mentioned? What about ENER???

What happened to the ENER nickel metal hydride battery and the GM EV-1? Why is GM so late ('09 with Volt & '10 with Vue) when they seemed to have a great advantage years ago? At one time the ENER battery could provide a range of over 100 miles. I understand it was to be in the '09 Volt, so why the delay?
