i saw you on CNBC and i think you pretty much said the same thing. i was curious where you got the 2 million foreclosure number ? also i wonder what happens to a mortgage bond, if nobody pays interest on it for a couple of months. i guess eventually the house is resold and the payments resume. hmmm.

felix i agree with you, the bsc save was a good move. i don't think gov. assets are in jeopardy as some people are suggesting, bsc still has a lot of assets, although JP will probably get first pick.

A Most Bearish View on Bear Stearns in a Bear Market

i agree with 4th party, i have a deep suspicion that this company may be accquired soon, albeit at a price below $80.
i am really waiting for their 1st quarter results which should be quite bad to take any position on this company. i may be too late, but the downside risks are still considerable in my opinion.

Bear Stearns Looking Decidedly Cheap

i agree with you, BSC at 70 is looking good. the bank still has tons of assets and lots of loyal customers. a couple of hedge funds does not a mountain make. it could go lower, but i bought some at 72 and intend to hold it :)
