  • Investigating The May Sell-Off In Clearwire: Who Or What Is Responsible? [View article]
To think that this stock has dropped over 50% over the last month still baffles me. However I think the main issue is that without spectrum sales, CLWR technically has NOTHING going on until next June is the most major player. Sure you have your people out there that are long, but what does "long" mean for a lot of traders? Sometimes it is only 5-6-7 months. That would only take you to this next winter, in which CLWR will still have nothing going on... THere are much better places to keep your money, especially if it is still dangling around 1.25 at that time. I see the average trader stuffing their money elsewhere, the longs suck in a holding pattern because they bought too early, and the shorts going to work. UNtil they make some big announcement like a major carrier using CLWR, or spectrum sale, or merger/Acquisition, CLWR will be the same old same old for the next 18 months. THey wont go bankrupt though, that is for sure. I am a strong believer that their new set-up will be the future of spectrum usage and will be able to do a lot of damage, especially to T and VZ.

  • Clearwire: Spectrum Worries Are Overblown And Quarterly Results Support Bullish Stance [View article]
I liked the article. I am long CLWR on the premise that they currently hold an asset that has a limited quantity that is used more and more each month/year. While I don't think anyone will buy CLWR, I think they remain a great option to many companies who will try to break into the device world and want to use their spectrum. Things always have a way of changing, and I dont see the landscape or voice/data remaining the way it is structured now forever. As things shift, CLWR will have multiple opportunities for partners. I think Apple or microsoft will probably look to jump into the game over the next years. Who knows what these guys have planned....
