      I also think GOOG and AAPL are great buys BUT JUST NOT NOW. the market is going to continue to fall and so will AAPL and GOOG prices. I'd say wait until the federal reserve and govt. finally step in and fix some financial issues in our economy and seeing the housing market move the other direction. I'm not thinking recession, but prices will likely drop more.

      Why I'm Shorting Apple Ahead of Earnings
      hey buddy,

      historically apple inc. has fell after earnings. just look at all the earnings dates and do your research. you are definitely correct about evaluation and with AAPL at a peg of 1.21 + 3rd leader in computer market share and people in lines waiting out their door to buy the iPhone. this shows apple continual success. i agree and love it also when people sell off and make my money off puts and my calls.

      Apple's New Revenue Sharing Agreement Impresses Analysts
      You may have a point, but I have this gut feeling Microsoft's Zune will become a real player with the iPod/wifi music sharing. Currently the iPhone is still so controling and you can't easily share music with one another. I was once big on getting it especially now with a cheaper 16gig 3G model, but instead I chose a cheaper more effective Blackjack by Samsung with cingular for cheaper with 8gig and I can do so much more since it runs Microsoft on it. I also get pissed off at snooty Apple sales people in bestbuys. I'm sorry Apple, as much as I love you, you still aren't king like PC's and Mr. Bill Gates. One thing I do agree with is the price of Apple's stock which will be rewarded with upgrading the iPhone and offering it basically to anyone who wants to sell it which = explosion of growth and cha-ching for Apple and shareholders. You can bet I'll be owning leap year options on AAPL. -fn

      Apple's $199 iPhone Is a Game-Changer
      I'm long AAPL as well because we are in a weak market right now and Apple continually is able to receive growth from a market with less money. Also note to EVERYONE who got their $600-1200 rebate check from uncle sam guess where some of that might go? to buying the iPhone.

      Economists Largely Positive Following Fed Rate Cut
      I liked the quote on "This move means support for the economy, but nine months or so from now. This isn't a short-term fix." -- Tim Evans, Citigroup because its true. we will see most likely further downtrends in the market because it will take months before companies get relief and hey just in time for the presidential election!! how interesting...

      last time the Fed did this in the 1990's with bill clinton the market fell after surprise then 2nd expected cut. i'm curious if the same will happen since the situation is the same.

      Solar Energy: PV Cell Production Jumps 50 Percent in 2007
      Actually the article is really correct and I agree with the author. These solar stocks are hot, growth is predictable in the future, and many of these big companies have very low PEG scores under 1.00. All these stocks are basically growth/value warren buffett stocks.
