as a musician i think some kind of royalty bases is needed once all the musicians are payed equally for their content and contrabution to supplying thier original material that they worked and paid for in one form or another.than thier could be one format for the whole industry fairness.i myself have spent thousands of dollars trying to get my music herd and promotted on line or anywhere for that matter and you come up to a wall of bussiness giants and so called promoters and pitch men. that wanna claim the statas quo.all you gotta do to understand that is listen to the top 100.its like shit onastick just cover it with the right thing and anyone will buy it. thats why the internet is so important it give independent artist air time nomatter how minimal.as for paying them thats another question. but at least they get thier material out thier for people to listen and her what they have to say. its a great alternative having the independents.now all music is worthy of its place in the sun. so lets work out a system were the musician get thier royaltys and the peopleget thier great music alternatives. uncle mike
