    Trucking and railroads heavily linked to the economy. Earlier (long time ago) trucks and rails were transporting exports - that is over. Rails were more competitive than trucks due to higher efficiency because of high oil prices - that is over.

    Yes the price spurts in transportation stocks has been way overdone - major correction is overdue. Airlines are finally coming to senses - cutting more and more – prices, capacity, jobs.
