Boeing (BA -0.9%) may be saddled with another headache once the investigation into its Dreamliner battery mishap comes to a close. Depending upon the findings, Japan's All Nippon Airways is prepared to recoup from BA whatever damages it suffers from flight cancellations and other costs caused by the grounding of its jets, which could leave the door open to other airlines doing the same. ANA is BA's biggest Dreamliner customer, with 17 of the jets in its fleet, and has so far canceled 459 flights this month because of the grounding. [View news story]
Wonder if I can sue Boeing for all of the cancellations and delays I've encountered in the last four decades.... just wondering :)
The True Reason Why Wal-Mart Dumped Amazon's Kindle [View article]
I don't have a clue as to why Wal-Mart dropped Kindle, but I'm not so sure they were terribly concerned about shelf space. In my rural area, W/M seems to have an ever increasing amount of empty shelf space. After driving out the competition, they started dropping things I got used to buying from them. So maybe the Kindle buyers just go to the internet first.

I hadn't given it a thought as to why Wal-Mart dropped Kindle, but I'm not sure they are as concerned about shelf space as you indicate. The W/M stores in my area seem to have an ever increasing amount of empty shelves. It may not be the norm, however, but it is stimulating me to do more on-line shopping. (In this rural area, Wal-Mart drove out the competition before emptying their shelves of products I purchase.)

To meet the standard, automakers will need to introduce new technologies and sell more alternative fuel vehicles. Critics say the rules will add thousands to new car prices. [View news story]

The "plan" is to keep trying to put common sense in D.C. Probably an surmountable objective.
All reasonable things to consider. However, investors seem to me to be a bit overoptimistic now and WAG has been relatively flat in the lower 30s. I think it a "hold". I wouldn't buy it now.
