Rising Commodity Prices Reflect Global Commerce Revival

Is this really a demand increase or inflation kicking in due to drop in $ value. I am not seeing any rise in demand and crude stock is piling up. People are driving less and less and I am seeing significant behavioral change in people's habit on spending/travel.
