    Great article but I think the author is way too early in his predictions. Like 5-20 years too early. We still have to dig our way out from the current deflation before inflation strikes. Right now if the US economy falls apart the world is likely to follow so I wouldn't bet against the dollar.

    Buying gold is smart but might also be somewhat premature. It hasn't acted as if serious inflation was coming lately.
